      6. Lot begs to go to Zoar instead of the mountains (Gen 19:17-23)

    1. Worldly ambitions - Rom 12:2
    2. Sinful surroundings - 2 Pet 2:6-9; Rom 12:9 (abhor evil)
    3. Raising children with the wrong influence - Proverbs 22:6
    4. Inability to leave a sinful environment - Luk 9:61-62
  6. Conclusion
    1. Where are we? Even if we are faithful, we can put ourselves into positions that can compromise us or our children. Our environment can be not only where we live, but what we allow into our homes or what we indulge in as entertainment. Some could argue that we are living in a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah when you look at the current state of the morals that are promoted in our society. - 2 Tim 3:1-5
