- Ephesians 1:4 -
God's plan began at the forming of the world. God did not make a mistake and
start over with the New Testament. It was all planned and can be exemplified by
looking at the many examples in scripture that are metaphorical of his plan. Especially
through marriages.

- Romans 7:5
- Ruth was not of God's Chosen people, she was a Moabite
- Romans 9:24-26
- Ruth and Noami were saved by Boaz's Grace
- Ephesians 2:5-8
- Ruth was married to her savior, thus adopted into the God's chosen people
- Romans 7:4-5
- Ruth lived happily ever after (and bore David's grandfather)
- Romans 15:11-13
- Jewish Wedding Traditions of the time mirror God's relationship to man

- God accepts the Jews, creates a law and pattern for acceptance, then uses that pattern
to build the ultimate sacrifice of his Son.
- Groom would leave and go build a homestead
- John 14:1-4
- Groom would return unannounced and take the bride away to be married
- Matthew 25:1-13

- Ephesians 5:22-33 -
This example of the husband/wife relationship is given for us to understand
our relationship with Christ. If we understand one, then we understand the other.
