This study was also a product of a statement made by the late brother Dell Young in one of his sermons. His statement was that after the apostle Paul was converted he spent 17 years apart from the the other apostles while he obtained the gospel from Christ himself and taught it abroad. This statement didn't seem right, so I pursued it. The study begins in Galatians 1:11 - 2:2 where Paul tells the Galatians about his education in the Gospel. This education is also touched upon in 2 Corinthians 12:1-9 where Paul is trying to justify his apostleship to the Corinthians. However when we look to the book of acts we find no mention of this missing time (Acts 9). To fully understand the sequence of events we have to use Galatians and Acts together to understand what happened and over how long of a time. First let's look at how Galatians describes the events following Paul's conversion, then we'll look at the book of Acts and see how the two fit together. This will give us a full understanding of what happened. A Chronological Account
